Dr. Muhannad Alazzeh holds advanced academic qualifications in law and public policy and has held senior national and international positions in human rights, governance, and public service.

Ph.D. in Comparative Criminal Law – University of Alexandria, Egypt (2002)
Graduated with distinction and received the Award for Best Thesis. His research addressed the protection of the human body in modern medical practice from a comparative criminal law perspective.

Academic and Professional Journey

After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Alazzeh returned to Jordan with the ambition of pursuing an academic career. Despite his academic excellence, universities declined to appoint him after interviews due to his blindness. This experience strengthened his determination to defend human rights and challenge discrimination.

He began his professional career as a researcher with Humanity & Inclusion International in Amman and later became the organization’s Regional Officer for Rights and Advocacy.

His expertise in legal analysis and human rights led to senior leadership, advisory, and governmental roles.
